Covid-19 Update - 23rd March 2020

Firstly, we'd like to send our best wishes to all of our customers.  We hope that everyone is well and is staying safe at this difficult time.

Today we took the difficult decision to temporarily close our shop at the Ruskin Glass Centre.  We feel so sad to be doing this, but we agree that the closure of shops is in the best interest of everyone's health and safety, and supports our NHS staff in their efforts to contain this pandemic. 

We are aware that so many of our customers are using our soap for hand washing, in an effort to keep themselves and their families safe.  Today many customers have contacted us, since they are anxious they might be unable to purchase our soaps and skincare products.  We recognise that for them, our soaps and skincare are essential products that make living with skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis more bearable.  

So we have decided that while we are both fit and well, we will keep our website open.  We are currently processing and dispatching UK online orders as normal.  We will continue to do this while we are permitted, but we intend to follow the Government's instructions to the letter.  So if in the coming days they instruct mail order businesses to temporarily close, we will.  With this in mind, we'd now advise customers to check that they have sufficient stocks of their Natroma products to cope with a short shut down. Please be reassured we have plenty of stock, we just worry that we may shortly be prevented from sending out orders.

We are aware that there are delays to Royal Mail and courier deliveries.  So you may find that orders may take a little longer to reach you, but we are doing our very best to keep orders flowing. We are continuing to answer your emails and queries, but in these extraordinary times we expect to begin operating reduced hours with some work from home.   The workshop phone will not be manned as usual so it will be best if you send us an email or a message via our contact page

Like many small family businesses, we are so grateful to our customers for continuing to order from us during these difficult times.  There is currently no government support for small self employed businesses like ours, so we will continue to serve our customers for as long as we can.  Our thanks again for your kind messages of support and ongoing custom.
