Japanese Incense - 10 sticks

We're pleased to bring some of the new Japanese incense sticks to the Natroma website.  In our shop, customers are able to purchase loose incense sticks so they can try out the various fragrances.  So we thought it would be nice if website customers could purchase them in small quantities too!  

Japanese incense is a premium, very pure product and unlike traditional dipped stick incense, there isn't a bamboo core.  Instead this incense is just a pure stick of compacted natural incense ingredients.  These are smaller in size than a traditional incense stick but still fit into normal incense holders and burn for the same amount of time.  They have a beautiful sophisticated fragrance that's long lasting and releases only a small amount of smoke.

These are shorter 14cm sticks with an approximate burn time of 25-30 minutes.  Each item on this page is for 10 sticks of your chosen fragrance, which will be wrapped in tissue paper and protected with a roll of corrugated card.  Please be aware that although we will carefully package your order, these are thin incense sticks without a bamboo core so we expect that some sticks may occasionally snap whilst in transit.  This has no impact on their use, since the pieces can still be burnt as normal.  Since they are fragile we will not replace sticks that may have snapped, so if you only wish to use perfect sticks please visit our shop to make your purchase.

Ka-Fuh Aqua (blue sticks) - a clean, fresh but delicate aroma of cyclamen and primula flowers.  By Nippon Kodo, a Japanese manufacturer that takes inspiration from the scent of blossoms in the wind.

Kazedayori Spring (green sticks) - by Nippon Kodo, a sophisticated floral aroma that contains Bulgarian/damask rose oil.

Kazedayori Summer (blue sticks) - by Nippon Kodo, a refreshing floral aroma inspired by lotus flowers with hints of lily of the valley.

Kazedayori Autumn (pink sticks) - by Nippon Kodo, a deeper more earthy aroma with oak moss.

Kazedayori Winter (purple sticks) - by Nippon Kodo, a beautiful floral aroma of narcissus with sandalwood and musk.

Original Kobunboku (red sticks) - by Baieido, a sophisticated blend of fifteen different plant extracts - including sandalwood, herbs with a sweet smell reminiscent of plum blossom. 

Information about Japanese incense

Japanese incense is a refined, pure product that's rich in natural ingredients.  The sticks do not have bamboo cores, so they're pure incense shaped into thin solid sticks.  Japanese incense is considered by many to be the finest in the world, so due to the high quality ingredients and manufacturing process it tends to be a little more expensive than some incenses...but it's worth it!  These Japanese incense sticks burn clean and are much less smoky than Indian stick incenses.  Japanese incense sticks look smaller than wood/bamboo sticks but will last just as long and leave a beautiful refined aroma in the room.
