Botanical Wax Melts

New for 2024!  We now have some beautiful botanical wax melts.

We're having these made for us (we're still too busy making our skincare), and they contain only natural plant waxes - a naturally sourced soy and rapeseed oil wax blend fragranced with the finest fragrance oils and decorated with pretty sustainable dried botanicals.  They are free from any animal derived ingredients or beeswax, making them vegan friendly.  They are clean burning, additive free and are not tested on animals.

Our Natroma wax melts weigh approximately 20g, so we'd suggest that you use an electric wax melter or a wax melter/oil burner with a large bowl.  The important thing to consider is the height of your burner since wax melts need to be gently heated.  This ensures the wax melts without becoming too hot and forms a pool in the burner which releases the fragrance.  If possiblem try not to use in a small burner that is designed for essential oils since the height from the top of the tealight candle may be too short - you'll over heat the wax and this will burn off the fragrance too quickly leading to your wax melt not lasting as long as it should.  After each use the wax should be allowed to cool, and it will then solidify in the melter/burner.  Unlike a candle these do not contain a wick, so it is the heat from the wax melter / burner that melts the wax.  To get the best results we'd suggest that you use an electric burner or large wax melt burner used with a 4 hour tealight.   Do not use tealights that can burn for 6-8 hours (e.g. gastronorm/food warmers) since you will overheat the wax which could be a fire risk.  

We have selected a small range of fragrances for customers to try and these contain fine quality fragrance oils.   

Priced for a single melt, weighing at least 20g of wax each melt measures approximately 3.5 x 2cm.  They're supplied in a glassine bag or biodegradable cellulose bag and will include a leaflet that itemizes the fragrance allergens (just in case customers are sensitive to certain fragrance ingredients).  This is information is also listed on the additonal information tab on this page.
